Elissa's First Birthday Shoot
So poor Elissa! I do tend to torture the poor girl with a ton of photos! And sure enough, we did not know it at the time, but litle muffin was getting a cold, and NOT feeling like having her picture taken at all! We tried every bribe in the book and here's some great shots we were able to catch. (I'm convinced she'll love Aunt Wendy one day for all the torture)

I've been working these past couple months on updating the website including photos from last year sessions (and some from this year), new music, and an updated logo. Using all those snow days confined to my house really worked well for me! Perfect time to get caught up.
Changes to Cantwell Creations Photography:
Most of you know 2010 was my first year starting Cantwell Creations as a part-time photography business. I could not have been more surprised how quickly the word spread and how many incredible families I was able to meet (and some I've created great friendships with). It was more than I ever expected.
Along with starting a new business comes a bit of a learning curve. Learning what works and what doesn't work and areas I can't wait to improve upon as well. One of my first realizations was how much time is actually spent on each client from start to finish. And while my goal to provide quality pictures at an affordable price to families has not changed, I have decided to increase the rate by $20 for 2011, starting April 1st to $75.00 per session. I will continue to offer all images on cd along with a copyright release as part of this rate, which is still well below most photography standard pricing. That will also make shoots outside of the Lee's Summit area $85.00.
Bonus Perk!
Here's the good news! If you book your session BEFORE April 1st and keep that date without canceling, you can receive the original 2010 rate of $55.00. But you must book your date BEFORE April 1st. If the date needs to be changed due to inclement weather you will still receive the discounted rate.
I can't wait to see you all again this year! I have really enjoyed spending time with each and every one of you.
